God is telling one great story. All of creation is made for His glory, and He has a plan for every part of it. How can every single thing reflect God’s glory? Is it wrong for God to seek His own glory? This unit will introduce the great story of God’s plan to bring everything together for His own glory: the story of everything.

God’s plan covers every area of life, but it also tells us a coherent story. Every story has a beginning, a climax, and an end. This unit will tell the big story of God’s plan for history, from the creation of the universe to the fall of humanity to the cross of Christ and His Second Coming.

God made the world and called it 'good.' But with the fall of mankind into sin, all of creation is groaning to be remade. This unit will tell the story of creation, seeing what Scripture says about the beauty and danger of the natural world and the hope of the New Heavens and New Earth.

The nations rage against God and one another. This is the world as we know it, starting with the Tower of Babel. But every nation of the world fits into God’s plan, and people from every people group will be represented around God’s throne. This unit will introduce the origin of nations, God’s judgment on them, and how they relate to God’s Kingdom.

Culture is worse and better than we might think. Culture is easily used as a weapon against God’s glory or an occasion for idolatry. But it was designed to image God and give Him glory. This unit will consider the good and bad of culture and give us a vision for engaging culture to the glory of God.

“How long, O Lord?” This is a question the faithful ask throughout Scripture. If God hates evil, when will He make it stop? This unit will consider the problem of evil, God’s plan for it, and the place of Christians before the final judgment.

Pain finds us wherever we go. After the fall, pain and death became a consistent and inevitable part of human existence. This unit will survey the story of pain, where it comes from, what we can learn from it, what Jesus did about it, and what He will do about it.

God made the world to be enjoyed. There are times to work and be solemn, but there are also times to rest and have fun. This unit will lead us to consider how rest and fun can glorify God, and what role the Sabbath plays in the Christian’s life.

Romantic love was God’s idea. He’s neither a ‘hopeless romantic’ nor embarrassed by romance. Love, marriage, and sex are part of His design to produce image-bearers who reflect His glory and care for each other. This unit will survey the story of romance in God’s plan, its intention for good, its limitations due to sin, and its ultimate culmination in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We’re all going to die. Physical death is part of the curse on humanity because of Adam’s sin. However, there is a judgment after death that waits for all of us. This unit will explain God’s plan for you, whether you repent and trust Christ or reject His grace and remain in your sin.
